Manga-Anime Differences[]
- In the manga, only Koshi goes to visit the shrine, but in the anime, the rest of the Deer Club members as well as the student council members were added.
- Bashame and Anko are added to the praying scene at the shrine. When Koshi goes to pick her fortunes, the remaining members of the student council are seen.
- The wild deer being present around the vicinity of the shrine is anime-exclusive.
- The scene of Mitsu making a demonic face is anime-exclusive.
- The head priestess and Noko sharing a drink of the antler juice is exclusive to the anime.
- The head priestess wears a ritual cap during the blessing scene in the anime.
- The anime adds a scene of Chiharu being visibly happy to receive her share of the antler juice.
- The anime also adds a scene of an Ema showing Deer Club members' wishes for the new year. In the manga, it was featured in the doodles' titles in Chapter 30, not as closing panel in Chapter 12.
