- Because the segment adapting Chapter 6 is the last of the normal chapters to be adapted in the anime, there are many changes to fit the continuity of the anime:
- Torako's reactions are much more subdued when compared to the manga.
- The mention of the events being the first day of the Deer Club is replaced to be a general Deer Club activity.
- In the same segment, a quick scene explaining why Noko's uniforms are tattered is added; In the manga, it is never explained.
- The dialogue exchange of Torako telling Noko not even cats are afraid of plastic water bottles anymore is incorporated into "Deer Meets Dark Girl".
- Additional dialogue of Torako mentioning how she and Noko have gone through 11 episodes and they still didn't know the directions is added.
- Torako pulling her phone to look for directions to the shopping district is exclusive to the anime.
