"Grab Her Weakness!" (アイツの弱みをにぎれ!! Aitsu no Yowami o Nigire!!) is the fifth episode of the first season of Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan, and is the fifth episode overall.

- The color of the text on the title card represents Koshi.
- This is the first episode to have one of the three chapters it is adapting have a significantly large gap between the other two. In this case, Chapter 21 was grouped with Volume 1's Chapters 3 and 4.
- It is also revealed that Noko works as a part-time deer at the local zoo.
- Despite being the school's most popular girl, this is seemingly the first time Koshi's received a "love" letter.
- This is apparently also the first time Noko's antler sensors has failed her.
- It is also revealed that her antlers can work as a grenade of sorts.
- Her antlers are also revealed as possible compact storages for a single banana per antler.
- Noko breaks the fourth wall by insisting the TV station must have tons of love letters sent to her by her fans, the narrator also chimes in on this.
- Koshi also breaks the fourth wall when she dismisses getting blown up in the previous scene as just a "cartoon gag".
- In the second segment, Koshi reveals that there are school days wherein there is no need to go to the Deer Club.
- In the original, when Noko bombards Nekoyamada with questions about deer, thinking she wanted to join the club, Nekoyamada stops her in her tracks by letting out her signature meow of frustration. While in the dub, she straight up says she did not want to join.
- This is the first episode wherein there were more than two eyecatches, and also the first where Noko seemingly scribbled notes on one of them.
- Additionally, the drawing of Noko and Koshi from the second eyecatch of this episode are later made into official merchandise as acrylic frame keychain.
- As opposed to this episode of the anime, the unnamed rival delinquent group actually first debuts in Chapter 12 of the manga, as silhouettes during the Game of Deer Life board game. While they were given a more prominent role in the anime during said scene.
Manga-Anime Differences[]
- The scene of Noko saying she rolled her way to school, as well as the imaginary chase scene she lied about, are exclusive to the anime - replacing the scene in the manga where she tells Koshi how she segways a conversation.
- In the manga, Koshi and Noko's lockers are right across each other, while in the anime, they are right next to each other.
- The scene of Koshi choosing to believe the possibility of Noko also receiving a "love" letter has an anime-exclusive scene of Koshi's reasoning to that of Chiharu's idolization of Noko from the previous episode.
- The overly expressive face Noko makes when telling Koshi to confront the letter's sender is exclusive to the anime.
- In the manga, Koshi tells Noko not to follow her, while the latter agrees and has her antlers grow akin to that of Pinocchio's nose. In the anime, Koshi doesn't tell her this, and is surprised to see Noko having followed her.
- In the manga, when Koshi asks why Noko is so determined to fight the group of girls, Noko says it was because of Koshi saving her in "Girl Meets Deer", while in the anime, it is because she said she's helping her as a fellow member of the Deer Club.
- In the manga, Koshi was the one to tell Noko to come back once she's strong enough to take down Yoshida Saori. In the anime, this was said by the narrator.
- In the manga, the trio of gangsters were armed with crowbars, while in the anime, they had a nail bat, tazers, and a chain, respectively.
- Additionally, the fight never had the chance to start in the manga, as Koshi immediately threw the antler grenade that exploded on them. While in the anime, Koshi takes them head on, and instead throws the antler away, thinking Noko meant it as a joke - resulting in the gym getting blown up, alongside Koshi herself, Noko, as well as the three gangsters.
- An additional scene is added to the anime of the Deer Club girls reading the headline of the school gym getting blown up in the following day's newspaper.

- During the scene where Noko invites Koshi to get milk tea together, a wild deer finishes the two's sentences with saying "Shikaaaa" (Deeer) in the anime.
- Additionally, in the manga, it is revealed that Koshi gave in because she's secretly a sucker for sweets, while in the anime, this was changed to the narrator commenting how this was the first time Koshi went out for an after-school snack.
- During the end, an anime-exclusive scene was added wherein Koshi and Noko go their separate ways, with the narrator adding on, how Koshi forgot to tail Noko back to where she supposedly lived.
- The entire part adapting Chapter 21 takes place inside the Deer Club in the anime, whereas in the manga, the chapter took place just outside the club.
- Additionally, Anko was absent throughout Chapter 21, but was included in the anime.
- Noko calls Nekoyamada as "Shikayamada" throughout the entire segment, but only calls her this once in the manga.
- The ending has Neko on her way home before realizing she had no progress whatsoever in finding Torako's weakness. In the manga, she realizes this on the spot.

- The wild (?) deer saying "Deeer" repeatedly is a reference to the Pokémon franchise, wherein majority of the titular creatures cry out their own names.
Continuity[]
- During the scene wherein Koshi chooses to believe the possibility of Noko also having gotten a "love" letter, a flashback of the previous episode is shown, of Chiharu Tsubameya appreciating the things Noko was gifting her.
- During the second segment of Koshi spying on Noko sitting by her lonesome, Koshi has flashbacks of several scenes from all the previous episodes except "The Deer Club in the Crosshairs", even recalling having made it to the news from the previous segment of this episode.
- Noko briefly recalls Anko claiming to also be a deer in "Bashame Enrolls".
- Noko uses the same wash bowl trap (that Anko set for Noko herself from "Deer Meets Dark Girl") on Nekoyamada.
Errors[]
- When Koshi was spying on Noko, the former was surprised and assumed that Noko was broke, as if Noko herself did not tell Koshi this in the first episode.
- In the dub, when Noko says she "rolled her way to school in her sleep", Koshi questions "How is that?" when it should be "How is that possible?".
- In the original, Noko tells Koshi to "love the person who wrote the letter enough for the both of them (Koshi and herself)", in the dub, this was mistranslated as Noko asking Koshi to "give me some love, too".
- In the dub, Koshi says to herself that Noko "is just sitting there for an hour" as opposed to "has just been sitting there for an hour".
- The dub title is translated as "Grab Her Weakness!" as opposed to "Find Her Weakness!".
- The dub narrator describes Koshi as "posing as an honor student" as if she was not an actual honor student, which is not the case.
- When telling Granny Inukai how there's no such prophecy, Koshi says "That never has not happened!".
